Fremont Afghan Kabob

Fremont Afghan Kabob is a halal Afghan restaurant on Mowry Avenue serving grilled kabobs, mantu dumplings, and aromatic rice dishes rooted in Afghan culinary tradition. The menu also features vegetarian and vegan appetizers such as borani kadoo (spiced pumpkin) and badinjon borani (grilled eggplant with yogurt). The Fremont location is the original of what has grown into a small Bay Area chain with additional restaurants in Santa Clara and Mountain House.
