Buzkashi
Buzkashi is an Afghan family-cuisine restaurant in Paris's Batignolles neighborhood (17th arrondissement), named after the Afghan national horseback sport, with paintings of the game decorating a dining room of white woodwork, low benches, kilims and crimson cushions. The Kabuli-style menu shows Indian, Iranian and Middle Eastern influences: mantoo and aushak dumplings, mashawa bean-and-beef soup, kofta and spicy chicken or lamb plates, slow-roasted lamb saddle, and sides like kabuli rice, katcholou potatoes and lentil dal, finished with ferni pudding and saffron chai. It is highly rated by diners for its generous, fragrant dishes and warm service.
