Caravan Sarai Pao (also known as Pao Caravan Sarai) is an Afghan restaurant a minute's walk from Higashi-Nakano Station in Tokyo, operating since the late 1980s. Its interior evokes an Afghan yurt, with handmade clay pots, colorful rugs and cushions, and a traditional wooden toono structure hanging from the ceiling. Signature dishes include karahi gosht (mutton in tomato-based sauce), grilled kebabs, koftas, and toroshi (pickled vegetables), alongside a yakitori-style grill.
